When: (1) a Company is newly established;
or (2) a new ship type is to be added to an existing DOC, provide the Company demonstrates plans to implement the SMS meeting the full requirements of the ISM Code within the period of validity of the Interim DOC. A copy of the Interim DOC (which does not need to be authenticated or certified by the MCA) must be placed on board each ship in the Company's fleet.
