What are the qualifying requirements in the UK for Engine-Room Rating?

(1) have obtained an Engine-Room Watch Rating (EWR) Certificate; and have either (2) completed the four elements of Basic Training or (3) have completed acceptable survival and fire-fighting training and more than 6 months' sea service.
