Unless a seaman left behind is discharged in the normal way and receives his wages on his discharge, any wages due under the Crew Agreement must be paid by the employer, or by the master on the employer's behalf, within 28 days of the seaman's arrival at his place of return. An Account of Wages (ASW) must be delivered at the same time.
